VERY BRAVE
As the first snow flakes fell in Virginia Beach Chloe Sage was playing TIMBER with her little brother...Timber is a game John made up; standing straight as a tree your opponent pretends to cut you down and then yells "Timber" and you fall. Repeat. Over and over again! This began after watching a Paul Bunyon Disney movie.
When it was Chloe's turn she stood up not watching where she was going and knicked her eyebrow splicing it with a deep enough gash to render herself with not one but two stitches. She was very brave during the procedure! Here is a pic of her afterwards, with Clover, her bear that came to surgery with us! She may get her stitches out in 5 days, and hopefully won't leave much of a scar! Brave girl Chloe!

John's Medical Review
I took John to his pediatrician this morning for a well baby as well as an assessment. He was due for one next month anyway but bumped it up to now.
He is 95% in both height and weight which his doctor commented was wonderful.
John's gross motor skills and coordination are at their peak.
He knows all body parts and communicates very easily. He understands commands and conversation quite well.
He is not expected at his age to know colors, shapes, or letters of any kind, however does know quite a few and it is common to mix them up at this stage of his life.
He will be assessed as well in speech therapy as his clarity could be better, as is common for busy young men as himself.
At this time he is certainly in wonderful health and developing at an advanced rate! Good Boy Johnny!

Oh sippy cup, I miss you!
John NOT letting me take his picture!
you can't see me!

the before my new hair cut shot
This past weekend Chloe had a county fair at her school. She had so much fun chasing around her friends and getting her face painted. I was manning the popcorn stand so didn't get any pics, but we are planning the pumpkin patch this week so will take lots!
Johnny said the funniest thing this weekend while I made him a sippy cup of gatorade..."Oh sippy cup, I miss you." I have no idea where this came from but it was a crack up! I guess he was very thirsty.
Chloe's progress report is straight As, which I can't remember if I posted or not. She is going for principal's list but her teacher assures me she has made it already!!!
Johnny is against the potty training and very comical about it. Won't wear his trainers or big boy pants, just baby diapers as he calls them. We are working on it...it is a work in progress. Just a stage!
John's hair cut this weekend was a success. He hates them but allowed me to buzz and clip while he sat on a stool playing with dangerous items such as hammers and flashlights. I try to get pictures of this but he keeps taking pictures of me while I snap away. He thinks this is hysterical hiding his face!
Enjoy!
