Beach Kids

Here is our family blog. Life is so busy and so much fun I can't keep up with emails as much as everyone would like. I am trying my hand on here to see if this will be easier and fun for friends and family to enjoy the kids! Chloe and John are loving fall at the beach. The leaves have yet to change but the weather is lowering to high 60s and low 70s. The nights are cool and they have much enjoyed eating outside and roasting s'mores under the moonlight. Chloe is doing a monthly moon report and every night she must write what the moon looks like, what phase it is in, and we even added in what time it rises thanks to the GPS. Chloe's SOL test results just returned and she is doing beautifully in school. She missed only 1 in Social Studies and 1 in Reading, everything else was 100%! I am having her tested for gifted in October. Johnny is talking up a storm, his favorite thing is asking me what we are doing. "What we do now Momma?" Always curious as to our next move. We have been attending a Mommy and Me music class just as his big sister went to, and he loves it. There is also a nature trail near the class so we go a half hour early to walk that and chase squirrels and collect leaves and sticks to throw over the fence into the creek. This week we took cousin Bryce to The Hunt Club where a petting zoo was found to be a big excitement for both boys. After chasing the chickens, petting the bunnies, feeding the goats and petting a real cow and llama we played on the park for an hour, went on a hay ride, and ate ice cream...then went home to have a great nap! Hope your autumn is as fun as ours...pictures will be updated as much as possible! Blessings!
