Busy Summer Days

Kids at Virginia Beach School of the Arts, with Ms. Virginia! Acadamiacs teaches about our Constitution, States and Capitals, Presidents...in order! Times Tables, Universe, etc. by way of song and dance! John working hard for Par! Brotherly, sisterly love! Chloe built her brothers a tent in the living room! Cousins...almost all of them, in one spot at the same time! Priceless! Chloe sets the table with John's help for proper ettiquette night at the Hill household! Chloe explains, "This is how not to use your manners". John has chosen to use his dinner fork, not the salad fork! Kids decide to build a bird house while it's 104 outside! Good job Chloe and John!!! Another hot but thunder stormy day, children work on an art portfolio! Chloe reading in a cozy spot on Grandpa's farm! University of Middlebury Vermont Morgan Horse Farm Chloe found an interesting sight Mini Golf with Grandpa Baylor is the big boy! Johnny received a Sacagawea gold coin dollar. He was thrilled and played magic tricks with it for hours! Thank you Grammie! A trip to the Marine Science Musuem! Chloe found a fossil at the Marine Science Museum! 2 little prairie dogs! charting the weather! Both John's and Chloe's favorite is the volcano replica! Lazy lunch on the porch! Lovely sand castle the kids built! Baylor decided to climb on it before the tide came in!

More fun in the sun!

Arts and crafts on a rainy day! Chilly down at the beach...wearing sister's cover up, yes...I think I will save this one for Prom night! Looking for crabs! They found one, which was the best treasure of the day! Library time, practicing his ABCs with Reader Rabbit!

Summertime Fun

Chloe and best friend watching Jack Sparrow on the big screen, in 3D!!! O Captain, My Captain! Hugs on the beach! Letting our Painted Lady go free! We raised 5 from which hatched into beautiful butterflies! A really cool experience for the kids to watch! They loved it! Pool time! Chloe and her Uncle yakking Bay Back! A funny moth found...Chloe calls it her cotton candy moth! Our Mallard friends who came for dinner...John patiently waiting for me to take the picture so he can run after them! Can't wait to see the ducklings. John's "Monster Face"!

Rising 6th Grader

Chloe is officially on summer vacation! On top of student of the month she just received her report card as well!!! Her grades are as follows: AR (Accelerated Reading): 97 Art 100 Math B+ Science A- Religion A Reading B+ Music A Spelling B Social Studies B Writing A- PE A Spanish A Chloe's teacher comments her academic achievements are outstanding! That's our girl! When asked where she would like to go to celebrate she replied immediately...Great Wolf Lodge! Don't worry we'll take pictures!

Chloe's good character shines through because she has a mature and passionate understanding of fairness. She looks for opportunities to be fair with her classmates and verbalize what she believes is fair treatment for herself and others. Thank you SJA! Great job Chloe Sage!!!! We love you!
